Laya Devulapalli is a driven rising Senior at Meridian World School, deeply committed to her future in the medical field, particularly in nursing with a strong service-oriented mindset.

From a young age of 7, Laya has immersed herself in Kuchipudi dance under the tutelage of her mother, Guru Raji Rayaprolu, and Guru Sri Pasumarthy Venkateswara Sarma garu. Her dedication to Kuchipudi is evident in her performances across the Austin area, showcasing her exceptional footwork and vibrant energy, and earning acclaim from various organizations.

Described as hardworking, diligent, and sincere, Laya aims to excel in her academic journey at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Her ambition reflects her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the medical profession, combining her passion for healthcare with her artistic accomplishments in dance.
